If last nights game was a sign of things to come, then we can expect a monster showing for the rest of the weekend and Monday. I watched Matt Cassel come alive in the 2nd half and Brett Favre by using a rookie named Dustin Keller be as consistent as I have ever seen him in a game. Brett said Keller "doesn't know how good he can be." I choose to say Brett Favre doesn't know how good he can be with Dustin Keller. Best game I have ever seen of Favre in my whole 15 years of watching football. So maybe I will be asked why did I not post my Sit & Start before Thursday games? Well in my opinion in this Thursday game I wouldn't have said to sit very many people and even If I did it would have been silly, most everyone in the game scored well. However Sunday will be a much different story, so let's get to it.
Start:
Timmy Hightower - Seahawks versus Hightower it doesn't look fair for the Seahawks, Against the run the Seahawks have allowed at least one TD in games to opposing running backs 8 out of 10 weeks(one they were on a bye.) Hightower may share carries with edge, we saw this last week, but by far the better bet for the more yards and the TD's.
Donald Driver - Leading the packers in targets the past 3 weeks. I think you have to start Driver this week against the Bears. It may be hard for Grant to rush, I think Rodgers is going to be chucking it down the field like crazy, much like his predecessor did last night. Rodgers also a solid start this week.
Dwayne Bowe - Tyler Thigpen, what more can I say and he is on my hot list this week, (See Waivers) with him throwing the ball, Bowe, Gonzo and Bradley all solid starts.
Jay Cutler - The Broncos will be throwing, the running back core is beat up and all they have left is the pass. Expect big games from Marshall, Royal, and Sheffler.
Owen Daniels - The number 3 TE in the league, and he has a big game opportunity every time he gets a reception.
Sit
Jeremy Shockey - Poor play and Drew Brees doesn't even like him.
Deuce Mcallister - Kansas City is a poor defense but I think the Saints main back is not the great Reggie Bush I don't want them.
Larry Johnson - Back this week, but he is still not as good as their passing game, sit him.
Sage Rosenfels - He is no Matt Schaub, he is interception prone although he belongs to a good offense he is not a definite start.
MJD - Titans defense, I will admit he is MJD and he will get some yardage and maybe a touchdown but it is not for certain and I believe they may shut him down.
Waivers
Tyler Thigpen - Have you watched this guy play the last 3 weeks. This is the best thing to happen to the chiefs since.... I'm trying to think.... Priest Holmes... Was going to say the Linebacker that died in the crash or whatever the hall of famer. Can't remember his name. Pick him up if your short at QB.
Mewelde Moore - Parker is still not 100%, him and Mewelde will be sharing carries and the matchup is not bad.
The Hills from 49ers: Both Jason and Shaun hill are showing great chemistry. I think he has a good game.
Donnie Avery - When Torry Holt gets doubled this guy goes off, and I believe he has a good game.
Matt Hasselback - No more Seneca Wallace Hallelujah.
Well thats it for week 11 good luck in all your matchups. As always stay tuned to FFcollective for the latest in fantasy news and advice.
