The title is more of a 15 year old's text message to their friend in History Class(not that I am saying history is boring by any means, or maybe I am.) It is something I thought I would include in my surprises and disappointments piece, which according to the boss I am going to alternate between. Guess he assumed that when the Lions, Chiefs, or Falcons play a good offensive team my information was going to be a no brainer. Ha Ha No I like the boss and I have to say he does a damn fine job of making sure you fans and regulars of the site get a plethora of information at your fingertips every week. This column this week is an OMG, LOL Did u C the w2w4 column @ FFC that m8(mate) is just w8tin 4 us 2 comment, and nao he is trying 2 tell us how 2 watch football. No I am not trying to tell you how to watch football, what I am trying to do with this column is to give you some fantasy studs or teams to look at to determine where to go from week to week. These are things I will be watching and it is possible in the comments section to discuss these each week. Really trying to get more feedback, If your happy with my directions let me know, If your pissed off damn well let me know.
Such as,
The Raiders at Saints- Justin Fargas is getting the Start, Mcfadden's toe is bothering him, as is Al Davis's mouth if Warren Sapp has enough of his crap and slugs him. Fargas is the real deal and I doubted him last year. I was hung up to dry in the fantasy playoffs because my opponent had him and he pulled off a monster game. New Orleans held back Peterson let's see if they can hold back Fargas.
Matt Cassel vs San Diego- If he is going to do anything this year, this is the first matchup he has to show us something, enough with the inconsistencies and the poor play.San Diego is a considerably weak pass defense so hes going to have to start proving himself to fantasy owners and this is the place to start.
The Seahawks offense- Am I wrong or am I right is Bobby Engram the biggest thing in this offense?
LT- How bad is the toe, sources say that a defender stepped on it and it has set him back some we see this week just how much.
Westbrook- Playing with busted up ribs I am sure is loads of fun, but does it affect his fantasy value.
Mushin Muhammad- Does he outplay Steve Smith again this week
The Lions offense- Was it a fluke, did Kitna being out really make that much difference, was it just the Bears Defense.
Packers- Jennings or Driver against a horrible Seahawks D. 4 Td's for Rodgers?
Jones Drew- does he go off on Denver's defense, Does Jack Del Rio realize his strength is his run game and not his passing game?
Peterson- Come on its the Lions Adrian 3 TD's. If not I'll pull a Sly Stallone and yell ADRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
all week.
On that note Berrian and Frerotte, It's the Lions after all.
Forte should Blow up on the Falcons.
Mclain and Mcgahee(yes I'm including him I would be an idiot not to.) should do well against the Colts.
That's what I'm watching for this week. Keep your eyes on them and come back and throw out your opinion, If you like this and would like to see more then post as well. Thats all for me this week, I will be back next Friday with Sit and Start. As always stay connected to FFCollective for all the latest fantasy news and advice. Have a good week.
