I turned on the TV Screen and had ESPN gamecast on the PC Watching the Titans vs Texans, I looked on the Score ticker on the bottom of the Screen and what do my wondering eyes did appear but a miniature PATRIOT TEAM LETTING THE DOLPHINS SCORE ALL OVER THEM. I panicked I thought surely to god Ricky Williams didn't get a streak of LT(who I was happy to see at least scored a TD) that's right kudos to all you Darren Sproles owners. I thought to myself Ricky Williams I predicted him to fail miserably this week. Oh my god what have I done. You wouldn't believe the excitement as I saw it was Ronnie Brown scoring all those touchdowns down there in Miami. What a sigh of relief, and in all honesty Brian Kelley you didn't get the raw end of the deal on your trade you got AP and Cutler for Peyton Manning and Ronnie Brown. Wow why don't people give me trade offers like that. I see why your hurting the Guy scored an unbelievable 33 points on ESPN standard scoring. I'm hurting too my brilliant self started the NE def and st Sunday. Go figure, -7 Points.
Ya Ronnie Brown I don't think this happens again but its really weird to see it. Ronnie Brown big surprise right? Lets look at some others.
Surprises
Steve Slaton- I love the titans D and this guy ran all over them. All I can say is wow, this guy is amazing. I don't say that too much but my bet is this is the new Ryan Grant. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a top 10 back this season.
Chris Perry - No doubt he is the main guy in The cincy running game. What a fire-starter for that offense and it defiantly needs something to get it started.
Carlson Palmer - On that note he did real well this week, I don't like him as far as long term but not a bad week. But I would say if you own anyone from the Bengals it's either Perry or Housh. I don't think the Bengals are going to be great this year. Palmer is very inconsistent he can have a good week this week and throw 3 interceptions the next trust your gut and let it determine if this is for real or a fluke.
Derrick Ward - Looks like the best runner in giants land, of course Jacobs is the featured back but Ward looks like the best back on the team. All Jacobs got Sunday was the touchdown Ward did all the work.
Seahawks Recievers- They are coming back after the bye or so I hear. Both Branch and Engram will be back and you have to love Matt Hasselback throwing to them, Great waiver wire week adds if you have the room. Be a week ahead and their matchup their first week back is a godsend. I don't think the Giants Defense is a fluke but If Carlson Palmer can do something against them I would hope Hasselback can.
Disappointments
Matt Cassel
and the Patriots period- Yes I own him(Cassel) in most if not all of my
leagues. I am depressed as well. You would think that even without
Brady the team would be pretty good. I mean was I dreaming when they
beat the Jets in week 2? The Defense let Ronnie Brown Run amuck on
them! I started thinking back to last season, and remembered. The
patriots run D wasn't that great last year either. However they would
score so many points against their opponents that the running TD's
against them didn't really matter. Ronnie Brown isn't that great of a
rusher no offense to owners. So if he can do this to the Patriots.
Think of what the Grant's, Peterson's and Tomlinson's can do to them.
Willie Parker - Parker is going to be out this week with his injury Sunday, Sad for the guys who depended him looks like Mendenhall will get a chance to show his stuff after all.
Plaxico Buress - Suspended for a family emergency and missed practice. Looks like Toomer's Value goes up.
Chris Johnson- Johnson got the ball but Lendale White got the endzone. Its a good 1,2 Punch but Lendale is more of a red zone back which disappoints me.
Peyton Manning - What a horrible season so far for Manning, with Brady out Manning should be the #1 QB but Tony Romo is. Don't you hate drafting a QB in the first round and he stutter steps out of the gate. 9 points for a QB. Well I guess on a positive note that's 9 more points than Tom Brady had last week.
The So-So Section
Brett Favre - I really didn't know where to put this one. I saw this game and wasn't sure we were seeing a new Favre in New York. 2 int's in the first half 1 returned for a touchdown. He threw 3 td's but failed a 2 point conversion with 3 shots at it. He is still airing it out when he gets into trouble and throwing it up for grabs. I am really concerned about Favre. I don't know if it is a surprise or disappointment because he had a good fantasy day but at the same time a bad fantasy day.
Well I guess that does it for this week. As always stay tuned to FFcollective for the latest in fantasy news and advice. Have a great week 4.

Steve Slaton looks like the real deal, people forget that he was a top 5 heisman candidate in '06 with more than 1800 yards rushing - and he scored something like 57 TD's in 3 years at West Virginia.

You know J I have to agree, I haven't seen anyone run like that with Albert Haynesworth in the game for a long time. I seriously think its this guys skill and not just the Tennessee defense folding. I guess we will see this week when he faces a worse defense than Tennessee, Jacksonville.

I'm not convinced just yet on Slaton but I wouldn't call Jacksonville's run defense weak either...if Slaton can be productive (higher than 4.5 YPC on 10+ carries) again this week, then he'll start to win my support.
